Social media management doesn’t have to mean starting from scratch every month. In fact, the best strategy often involves reusing what already works. Recently, I created a 30-day Facebook and Instagram content calendar for a client by combining their top-performing past posts with fresh, AI-powered ideas. Here’s how I did it:
Step 1: Analyzing What Works
I started by reviewing the client’s meta dashboard to see which posts had the highest impressions, interactions, and shares. This gave me a clear understanding of the content their audience loved most.
Step 2: Refreshing and Repurposing
Using that data, I duplicated the top-performing posts and updated the hashtags to reflect current trends. I also refreshed the captions to give them a new spin while staying true to the brand’s voice. These posts were then scheduled as part of the month’s lineup.
Step 3: Adding New Content
To complement the repurposed posts, I created fresh content using Canva for visually engaging graphics. I also uploaded press releases and content ideas into ChatGPT, which provided captions and photo suggestions that aligned with the client’s goals.
The Result: A Full 30-Day Calendar
By blending repurposed content with new ideas, I successfully built a cohesive and engaging 30-day social media calendar. It included:
Optimized versions of high-performing posts.
AI-generated captions that resonated with the audience.
Custom Canva designs to keep the content visually appealing.
